We work in schools or pupils' homes, providing bespoke individualised education packages based on a holistic and creative curriculum from Reception to Key stage 5.
Assessment data is used to develop an individual learning programme that raises achievements, inspires expectations and supports pupils in their learning.
Our service includes gaining accreditation in GCSE Maths and English, Functional Skills Maths, English and ICT. We also offer accreditation in Communication Skills and the Arts Awards.
Encouraging Minds promotes attendance and academic achievements. Reports on pupils' progress are made daily and available for our commissioners.
Our Therapeutic programs aim to empower the young person and their family to break down obstacles, creating a stable, nurturing, calm environment and prepare them to be in a better place to be open to education and begin to build a positive future.
Using a systematic approach to early identification of emotional needs in children or young persons highlights emotional development needs early. It can build resilience, decrease the risk of mental health, prepare for school, and equips a child or young person ready and willing to learn.
This approach allows building positive bonds between a child or young person and their peers, improving attainment.
For children or young persons struggling to engage in education or those with Special Education Needs (SEN) where parents/carers or school are unable to meet their needs.
Their needs can be caused for many reasons poverty, alcohol/drugs, domestic violence, bullying, cyber-bullying, loss in the family, amongst other reasons.
Any child or young person from 3 to 19 years of age can benefit from our 6 weeks programs.
